SEO and PPC Manager – London, £50,000

The Role

This exciting role focusses on optimising websites for natural search performance (SEO) and owning the paid media channels (PPC and Display) to drive quality traffic both efficiently and successfully to support conversion and lead generation targets.

As part of the digital team, you’ll work closely with all areas of the wider marketing team, especially the performance, content and web development teams to ensure activity is aligned and delivers a ‘best in class’ experience.

What you will do

  • Ownership of the SEO strategy, including keyword research, gap analysis, website optimisation and link building.
  • Work with the Digital Content Writer and content teams to ensure on-site content supports SEO signals and maximises natural ranking potential.
  • Engagement with developer teams to shape platform roadmaps for technical SEO improvements.
  • Management of all Adword campaigns and budget, with clear KPIs and alignment to target CPCs.
  • Create an effective working relationship with Inbound and Automation owner(s) to support inbound marketing tactics and channel synergies.
  • Ownership and management for paid social activity, including Facebook Ads (Incl. retargeting), Linkedin Text Ads, Google Display Network Ads.
  • Feed into the creation of the content marketing strategy to ensure high quality and relevant content is being produced that will attract new visitors


  • Extensive knowledge and experience of Google Adwords, either from agency or advertiser
  • A proven background in SEO and latest algorithm thinking, tactics and best-practice
  • Experience with Facebook Business Manager (Ad Account) and custom audiences
  • Experience working with Umbraco CMS (Desirable)
  • Google Analytics, MS Excel
  • SEO tools including MOZ, SEMrush, BrightEdge, Screaming Frog
  • The skills to interpret data to provide recommendations for optimisation.
